It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Everett Via of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Via, Sr. and Clara Via (Mangin); and his siblings, Wilton Via, Fred Via, James Via, Mary Via Loftus and Alice Via Benjamin.

He is survived by: his friend John Krier; his sister Susan Via Nalley; his nephews, Mike Kriech (Carrie), Jeff Nalley (Genni), Ryan Nalley and Matthew Nalley (Doris Bachtrog); and his niece Kristie Nalley (Kathleen Crossland). He is also survived by dog watcher duties for his friends and family members.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 550 N. Rural Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46201.
