It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Edward Burgess of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Columbus, Kentucky, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Leon" Burgess and Uneda Burgess (Mofield); his siblings, Phyllis Suits and Freddie Burgess; and his grandparents, William Burgess, Zoula Burgess, Willis Mofield and Tina Mofield.
He is survived by: his son Joey Burgess (Cassandra); his granddaughters, Lucille, Scarlett and Emery Burgess; and his brother Keith Burgess. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
