It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Blocher of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Ivan "Toby" Poe and Norma Blocher (Rains); his adoptive father John W. Blocher; and his sisters, Sherry Gardner, Debbie McKinnon and Jackie Ball.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Blocher (McKinnon); his sisters-in-law, Mary Craven (McKinnon), Charlene Berst (McKinnon) and Connie Roark; his parents-in-law, Terry and Rebecca Beliles; his sister Kathy Parr (Bob); and his nephew Bobby Glenn Parr (Kelli).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (39 E High St, Mooresville, IN 46158). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the White Lick Cemetery (2485 N County Rd 600 E, Avon, IN 46123).
