It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Julian Maxey Sr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Maxey and Maxine Maxey. He is survived by: his wife Carol Maxey of Indianapolis; his brother Charles Maxey (Darlene) of Montgomery, TX; and his children, John Maxey Jr. of Indianapolis and Barbara Maxey of Indianapolis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Shrine Children's Hospital or The Indiana Historical Society.
