He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John D. Abbott Sr. and Gladys Abbott; and his son Chad Abbott. He is survived by: his daughter Marsha (Mike); his wife LeAnn Heinemann; his children, Donna Raff (CA), Gomez (CA) and Lauren Abbott (IN); his son-in-law Daniel Austin; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Zachary, Alexis Gomez (CA), Trevor Raff (CA), Ashton Johnson (IN) and Ava Austin (IN). He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Center United Methodist Church, or Centered Around Christ Homeless Ministry.
