He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Brost and Peg Brost (McAuley); and his brother Pat Brost. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Brost (Krista) of Minneapolis, MN, Kevin Brost of New York, NY and Mike Brost; his granddaughter Claire (Stephen); his sister Brenda Walker (Steve); his nephew Jack Walker (Meredith); his nieces, Sara and Tori Walker; and his close friends, Bob, Debbie Whitman of Indianapolis, IN, Barb Mahoney of Indianapolis, IN and Cindy Tyrrell of Milwaukee, WI.. He is also survived by relatives and countless friends.
