He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Mathis and Minnie Mathis; and his wife Cindy Mathis. He is survived by: his children, Jerry, Kelly, Kevin, Ryan, Bailey and Loretta. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Usher Funeral Home (2313 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46222). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM and at 7:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lincoln Memory Gardens (6851 S Indianapolis Rd, Whitestown, IN 46075).
