He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Murphy and Pauline Grunett Murphy; his children, Jerry Murphy (Murph) and Ashley Nevins; and his siblings, Bill, Steve, Donnie Murphy and Mae Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife DeeAnna Murphy; his children, Jimmy Murphy (Cassandra), Jason Murphy (Ashley), Josh Murphy (Carrie) and Stacey Nevins (Scott Stewart); and his sister Regina Glandon. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home and Cremation (5141 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
