He is survived by: his wife Maryel; his children, Christopher Nelson (Cathie), Bryant Nelson (Lisa) of Dallas, TX, Chad Sorrick (Julie) of Phoenix, AZ, Chase Sorrick (Amy) of Valparaiso, IN and Mia Kary (Joel) of Indianapolis, IN.; and his sister Sheryl Moody (Mike) of Eureka, KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
