He is survived by: his wife Martha Hughes; his children, Jerald Day, Jr. of West Point, IN, Nora Day of Des Moine, IA, Merry Gick (Bradley) of Clarks Hill, IN, Sean Day (Michaela) of Summerville, SC and Joy Day of Friday Harbor, WA; his grandchildren, Aaron, Jeremy, Robin, Angela and Sandra; and his great grandchildren, Madallyn, Fiona, Xavier, Elijah, Katrina, Robert, Audrey and Aldous.
