He was predeceased by: his parents, Burlin Rector and Claretta Rector (Russell); his former wife Annetta Rector (McGee); and his children, Marcey Moore and Robert Rector.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Rector; his son Lon Rector (Amy); his son-in-law David Moore; his grandchildren, Hanna Raber (Clay), Matthew Moore (Shaya) and Logan Rector (Valerie); his great grandchildren, Braxton, Zylee, Axel, Harper, Everlee and Lillie; and his brother John Rector (Judy).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 a charity that Jim himself donated to for many years.
