He is survived by: his wife Grace A. Cooning; and his children, Michael J. Cooning (Pam) of Denver, NC, Judith K. Kerr (Steve) of Indianapolis, IN, Kathleen S. Erickson (Scott) of Naples, FL and Peggy J. Lepter (Doug) of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
