James R. Riggs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, at the age of 88, James R. Riggs of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may James find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janice Riggs (Croucher); his children, Dena Riggs Hein and Jason Riggs (Monique); and his grandchildren, Andrew Hein, Adrienne Hein and Jim (Jan).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Flanner and Buchanan (1305 Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46220).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana (https://action.aclu.org).
