We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025, at the age of 77, James M. Barber of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Barber and Irene Barber; and his brother Ronald Eggers. He is survived by: his brother Larry Paynter; his sister-in-law Becky Paynter; his nephew Steve Eggers; and his nieces, Joy Reeves and Ruth Schlatter.
