He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Andrew and Lilly Jane Amonett (Story); and his brother Harty "Ted". He is survived by: his wife Frances VanderBaan; his children, Daniel Amonett (Sharon), Shirley Goode and Cheryl Mayhew (Rick); his grandchildren, Amy Krahl (Kenneth), Becky Courtoy (Jason), Christi Russ (Tyler), Russell Goode (Meghan), Casey Goode (Brianna), Amanda Gore (Brandon), Shelby Mayhew and Kendall Teague (Quinn); and his brothers, Maurice and Gene (Jackie). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
