He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merle Hamilton Miller Jr. and Johanna Wallin Moser Miller; his friends, Gregg and Malinda; his wife Malinda Lee Aston; his daughters, Kristen Aston Cruzata and Kelsey Aston Miller; his brothers, Eric Wallin Miller (Lori) and Thomas Griggs Miller; his sister-in-law Happy Feliz Aston (Leonardo); his aunt Terry Ann Mumford (Lewis); and his uncle Lester Clarence Miller (Amy). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

After a year and a half of battling Parkinson's and various other complications, he died peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
