She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Funk and Esther Funk (Brady); and her husband Walter Smith (Smitty). She is survived by: her children, Denise Bowen (James) of Noblesville, Garry Smith (Nancy) of Indianapolis, Ron Smith (Pam) of Indianapolis and Darrell Smith (Cindy) of Greenwood. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, an organization she supported for over 50 years.
