She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Jones and Lillian B. Jones (Coley); her husband Joe R. Edwards; and her siblings, James B. Jones and Virgie Frances Felker.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis J. Edwards, Janice O'Neal (Jeffrey) and Douglas Edwards. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
