Evelyn Bicksler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Bicksler (Indianapolis, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Bicksler to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Evelyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Evelyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev Lyle Brock and Doris Brock; her former husband Rev Jim Spurling; her husband Bill Bicksler; and her grandchildren, Dane Lyle Keaney and Kasie Hernandez.
She is survived by: her children, Wes Spurling (Pamela), Connie Tafoya (Ernie), Katherine Keaney (Jim) and Dave Spurling (Debbie). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at the John Wesley Free Methodist Church (5900 W 46th St, Indianapolis, IN 46254).
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to support the Butuan Light and Life Bible College.
