She was predeceased by: her husband James Brookie; her sisters, Juanita Stewart and Mary Sue Harvey; and her parents, Ethel Janette (Jones) and Roy F. Clayton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lu Hesler (Kevin) and Jo Stanaland (Kevin); her grandchildren, Megan (Jon), Lauren Elizabeth (Alex), Brooke and Bryan; and her close friend Madalene.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Floral Park (425 N Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222).
