It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor C. Eckles of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daniel and Jane Ann McHugh (McDade); her husband Raymond T. Eckles; and her children, Judith, Raymond Jr. (Judy) and Daniel (Carol).
She is survived by: her brothers, Jack, Hugh and Dennis; and her children, Paul (Keitha), Dennis (Bonnie), Terry (Theresa), John (Linda) and Laurel Roberts (Bernie). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 9:45 AM at the St. Barnabas Catholic Church (8300 Rahke Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46217). Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (435 W Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225).
