She was predeceased by: her father William Johnson; her husband Billie Gene Elkins; her grandparents, Willie and Maggie Young; and her half-brother Rodney.
She is survived by: her mother Anna Young Smith; her children, Christopher Elkins (Argenita Miller), Alanna Johnson and Angela Durham (David); and her sister Ande Hazuda. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stuart Chapel (2201 N Illinois St, Indianapolis, IN 46208). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
