Gates of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Schienbein and Mary Schienbein; her husband Jean F. Gates, Jr.; her sister Mary Courtney; and her brother-in-law Art Courtney, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki E. Flint (Mark); her nephew Art Courtney, Jr. (Marji); and her nieces, Lisa Courtney and Lori Courtney. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
