It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy A. Evans of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul W. Sylvester and Margaret Sylvester Hausser (Carroll); her husband Robert W. Evans; her daughter Marianne Melton; and her siblings, Paul, Jerry Sylvester and Eileen Tandyk.

She is survived by: her children, Terese Frausto and Tim Evans (Bettina); and her grandchildren, Angelina, Michael Frausto, Aleshia Nelson (Cody), Casey Waltman (Breaton), Travis, Aaron and Cody Melton. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members, loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
