He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grim and Helen Grim (Cowen); his wife Donna Turnipseed; his sons, Richie and Randy; his granddaughter Taya Grim; and his siblings, Ted, Gene and Marge Shafer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melody Craig of Rochester and Tammy Shepherd of Rochester; and his stepdaughter Judy (Bill Miller) of Kewanna. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
