It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dewana Dean Rose of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noel Fishburn and Willow Dean Fishburn; her siblings, Eddie Fishburn, Patricia Eads and Barbara Hodges; her nieces and nephews, Alycia Ann Trauterman, Joyce Burwell, Rick Burwell and Bobbie Collis; and her brother-in-law Fred Thacker.
She is survived by: her husband Jeffery Rose Sr.; her children, Tabitha Lowery (Bryan), Jeffery Rose Jr. (Loretta) and Tara Houchin (Matthew); her grandchildren, Garrett, Patrick, Sophia of Taya, AJ, Jack, Rebbecca, Robert, Lily and Alex; her great grandchildren, Ryder and Kailo; her sister Wilma Thacker; and her close friend Mistie Ohler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home and Cremation (5141 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home (5141 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
