She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Howard Dean and Peggy Mae Stanley; her husband Edward W. Baker; her son Edward W. Baker, Jr.; her brother Richard Dean; and her pet Sassy Kay.

She is survived by: her children, Sherri Leeper (Rich), Amy Baker (Roy) and Stephen Baker (Carrie); her siblings, James Dean, Diana Geralds and Karen Ramirez (Jose); and her pet Annie Mae. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
