He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Goodwin and Katherine Marie Wilson Goodwin; his wife Dorothy Smith; his son David D. Goodwin (Lynnette) of Greenfield, Indiana; his grandchildren, Tyler of Greenfield, Indiana and Haidyn Goodwin of Greenfield, Indiana; his great grandchild Harper Goodwin; and his brothers, Gary Goodwin of Greenfield, Indiana, Ronnie (Creola Smith), Jewell (Carlie Cross Jr.) and William (Sue Smith). He was also cherished by his aunt and uncle that raised him, Lucille and Jacob Greathouse; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
