He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Whited and Rosemary Whited; and his siblings, Jerry, James, Dolores and Mary Ellen.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Whited (Simmons); his sons, Gerald Whited (Tatyana), David Whited (Terry) and Allan Whited; his grandson Devon Whited; and his sister Judith Corn.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
