She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Shepard and Delores Shepard; her husband David King; her brother Frank Shepard; and her brother-in-law Dennis Reed.
She is survived by: her sons, David Simmons (Wyetta), Jephrey Slaughter and Travis Shepard; her sister Virginia Reed (Ginny); her grandsons, AJ and Bailey Simmons; her niece Amy Tokash (Tom); her great-nephew Andrew Tokash; and her great-niece Jenna Tokash. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care - Harry W. Moore Chapel (8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250).
