He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Helfenberger and Martha Helfenberger Jr. (Bills); his wife Virginia A. Helfenberger (Moore); and his sister Barbara Burton. He is survived by: his children, Connie Rackley (Kenny) of Indianapolis and Dave Helfenberger of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Steve Rackley, Lori Rackley, Kelly Chambers, Aaron Helfenberger and John Helfenberger; and his sister Lois Boudloche. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
