It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Scheib (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on August 16, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemarie (Reifeis); his son Charles E. Scheib, II; his daughter-in-law Sharon Scheib; his granddaughter Angela Chappell; and his parents, Charles A. and Stella Scheib (Sinker).
He is survived by: his children, Susan Hughey (Jim) of Anderson, Carl Scheib (Yvonne) of Liberty, IN and Cynthia Brown (Tom) of Manitou Springs, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Viola Reifeis of Huntingburg, IN, Joyce Scheib of Freedom, IN and Molly Reifeis of Punta Gorda, FL.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He volunteered at the UCC Indiana-Kentucky Conference office, collected the school food donations for the food bank, and recycled newspapers for the Altenheim Activity Department.
