Carrie Joan Gootee Obituary
Joan is survived by her children, Theresa (David) Isaacs, Gina (Jeff) Tuttle, Brian Gootee, Cheryl (Dallas) Harris, Lori Gootee, and Brad Gootee; grandchildren, Ashley and David Isaacs, Max and Abby Tuttle, Dylan and Garrett Gootee, Allison and Dallas Harris, Jacob and Jordan Woolsey, Caley, Bradley, and Raelynn Gootee; great grandchildren, Noah Isaacs and Ryan Gootee; sister, Pat Pflum; brother, Jerry Elmore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Tom Gootee; brother, Russell Elmore; sister, Barbara Page; granddaughter, Geena Isaacs; and her companion, Keith Clark. Memorial and visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.
Joan will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart and American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
