He was predeceased by: his son Douglas Louden; his parents, Carl Louden and Leona Louden Sr.; and his siblings, Mel Louden and Norma Stewart.

He is survived by: his wife Edith Louden; and his children, Susie Louden-Matts (Michael), Patty Knoll (Alan), Michael Walker (Karyn) and Cheryl Everett (Gary). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
