It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy J. Scott of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Lexington, Tennessee, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scott and Polly Scott (Nichols); his wife Laurel Jean Scott (Hyatt); his children, Linda Smith and Larry Scott; and his granddaughter Christina Simmons.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Steele of Indianapolis, Randy Scott (Mickey Sue) of Brownsburg, Darlene Pierle of Indianapolis and Teresa Falvy of Indianapolis; his daughter-in-law Lisa Scott of Indianapolis; and his children, Foundation, Suite and Riley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.
