She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Carmer and Mary Adelaide Sanders (Soult); her husband Leland Ross Steck; her son-in-law David Zike; and her brother Lee Wayne Soult.

She is survived by: her daughter Nina Zike; her grandchildren, Chris Zike and Jenna Beckham (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Mason Zike, Grant Zike, Carter Beckham, Marshall Beckham, Harrison Beckham and Jordan Beckham; and her sister Sue Zahnd.
