She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Townsley and Sylvia Townsley (Cook); her spouse Cortez R. Shaffer, Jr.; her daughter Linda D. Sannita; her daughter-in-law Carol A. Shaffer; her granddaughter Jennifer S. O'Donnell (Matt); and her sister Carolyn Pond.
She is survived by: her son Robert M. Shaffer; and her grandchildren, Michael T. Shaffer (Connie), Cynthia S. Long (Justin) and Susan S. Jones (Todd). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
