She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Maples and Lillie Mae Coleman-Maples; her spouse Brownie Coleman Sr.; her daughters, Carldean Coleman and Judy Coleman; and her siblings, Ida B. Gilbert, Albert Maples, Ed Wash Maples and Cora Lee Maples-Dement.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Coleman, Brownie Coleman Jr. (Tammy), John Coleman, Joseph Coleman (Teresa) and Delores Coleman-Tooley; and her siblings, Hose C. Maples, Birder Mae Murray (Fred) and Mealie Hunter. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
