He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Peterson-Lucas and Ester Lucas Sr.; and his siblings, Willa Mae Peterson, Archie Peterson and Ester Lucas, Jr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Lester Lucas (Ruth Lucas) and Genanett Alexander; his children, Andrew'Drew'Lucas Jr. (Samantha Gardiner) and Angelena'Angel'Lucas Wilson; his friend Beth Ann Lucas (Rebecca Miller); his grandchildren, Dante Stevenson, D'Angelo Lucas, Beni Wilson, Bronx Lucas and Calen Lucas; and his sister-in-law Jane Peterson.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lavenia & Summers Home For Funerals (5811 E 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46218). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
