With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William M. Gamble of Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie H. Gamble and Opal "Peg" Gamble (Hoag); his children, Theresa Gamble and Billy Gamble; and his siblings, Bob Gamble, Dave Gamble and Betty Beeks.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen (Weiland); his children, Dona Dinius (Brad) of Roanoke, IN, Jennifer Ray (Douglas) of Roanoke, IN and John (Kelli); his brother Mike Gamble (Lora) of Huntington, IN; his grandchildren, Nichole Karst (Ryan Smith), Tyler Karst (Gretchen Winebrenner), Sierra Dinius (Nate Newsome), Joshua Ray (Jacy Boan), Jon Ray (Emily), David Brothers and Ewan Brothers; and his great grandchild Evan Ray.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or Community Harvest Food Bank in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
