He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Amos Smith and Doris Smith-Campbell (Gustafson); his son Wesley Smith Jr.; his grandson Travis Keplinger; and his siblings, Harold Smith, Donald "Doc" Smith, Richard Smith, Robert Smith, Barbara Stell, Walter Smith, Floyd Smith and Doris Hiner.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smith (Bir); his children, Marcia Teegarden (James), Darlene Werling (Gary), Andrea Keplinger (Dennis), Jennifer Rose (Scott), Lisa Bracht (Paul), Jodi Velasquez (Randy) and Kevin Smith (Karen); and his sister-in-law Diane Smith. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glancy H. Brown & Son Funeral Home (203 N Matilda St, Warren, IN 46792).
