It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waneta June Stevens of Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Newhouse and Nettie Newhouse; her husband Lee; her grandson Kevin Lee Shane; her brothers, Howard Newhouse and Harold Dean Newhouse; and her sister-in-law Eloise Newhouse.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Sue Shane (David); her grandson Mark Shane; her great grandchildren, Brianna Hill (Issac) of Huntington County and Levi Shane of Huntington County; her brother Garry Newhouse (Sharon) of Marion; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Newhouse of Huntington County and Dora Alice Grove of Wabash County.
