With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sigrid Kay Broderick of Huntington, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gesaman and Doris Gesaman (Outcelt); her husband John D. Broderick; and her grandchildren, Nathan Weber and Lynn Atha.
She is survived by: her children, Paul E. Broderick of Martinsville, IN, Debra Weber (Chris) of Greenfield, IN and Carol Atha of Waterloo, IN.; her siblings, Steven Gesaman (Rose) of Pierceton, IN and Rita Gesaman of Winona Lake, IN.; and her grandchildren, Hilary Key (Danny), Luke Broderick, Ethan Broderick (Marissa), Elise Broderick, Sam Weber (Makenzie), Emily Gerard (Andrew), Josh Weber, Ben Atha (Hannah) and Mark Atha. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Parkview Hospice in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
