He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul N. "Punk" Bickel and Patricia Ann "Patsy" Bickel (Kelly). He is survived by: his wife Deborah E. Bickel (Broxon); his children, Brett Jeffrey Bickel of Huntington, IN and Tara Nicole Bickel (Raymond Felts) of Lebanon, TN; his sisters, Shannon Clark of Huntington, IN and Michelle "Shellie" Bickel (Kris Geyer) of Huntington, IN; his close friends, Joe and Janice Bruce; his grandchildren, Kirsten Esparza (David), Jovey Bickel, Zane Bickel, Tatum Bickel and Payten Blair; and his great grandchildren, Laila Raine, Jamison and Maxton.
A rosary was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home (715 N Jefferson St, Huntington, IN 46750). Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (641 N Main St, Roanoke, IN 46783).
