He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Grassl and Valeria M. Grassl (Rohe); his son Scott C. Grassl; and his siblings, Norbert H. Grassl, Lois A. Grassl and Eunice Fairchild.
He is survived by: his daughter Christina Monk (Kenneth) of Eclectic, AL; and his stepsons, Troy Irick (Dawn) of Huntington and Todd Irick (Darla) of Bristol, IN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
