She is survived by: her husband Allen LeRoy Couch, Jr.; her children, Julia Couch of Wabash, IN, Peter Couch (Michele Henderson) of Huntington, IN, Karen Whitesell (Mark Whitesell) of Huntington, IN, Jennifer Szelis (Todd Szelis) of Huntington, IN, Maria Sopik (Bret Sopik) of Fort Wayne, IN and Patricia Baumgardner (Tony Baumgardner) of Huntington, IN; her grandchildren, Brittany Solomon, Casey Fischer (Mikel Fischer), Logan Baumgardner (Mya Houston), Travis Szelis, Daniel Pursifull (Hanna Pursifull), Justin Szelis, Joey Sopik, Jacob Szelis, Lucas Sopik, Katherine Baumgardner and David Baumgardner; and her great grandchild Seth Pursifull.
A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home (715 N Jefferson St, Huntington, IN 46750). Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peter & Paul Catholic Church (860 Cherry St, Huntington, IN 46750).
