She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Langosch and Helen Langosch (Popenfus); and her sister Dolores Borders. She is survived by: her sons, Hans Schleiffer (Eva) of Sweden, Luis Schleiffer of Huntington, IN and Angel Schleiffer of Huntington, IN; her granddaughter Sandra Hellstrom; and her great grandchildren, Elise and Lilly Hellstrom.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Christ the King Episcopal Church or to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington IN 46750.
