LaVern Roth Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVern Roth of Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Noah Rufine Roth; and his siblings, Earl, Earlene Roth, Vera Neaderhouser and Alice Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his wife Donna R. Roth of Huntington; his daughters, Cheryl Larson (Terry) of Huntington, Michelle Price of Pinellas Park, Florida and Susan VanDyne (Kent) of Firestone, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Tyler Roth Larson (Samantha Gillespie), Lucas Edward Larson (Hannah Choo), Justin Price (Sofia), Carli Roby (Matt), Jamie Altenburger, Stephanie Jaske (Austin Clark), Ashley Jaske, Emily Jaske (Jason Alexander) and Christian Jaske. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion United Church of Christ (315 N 3rd St, Decatur, IN 46733). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, Zion United Church of Christ, or the American Legion Color Guard.
