He is survived by: his children, Robert Mackowski of Wabash, IN, Stephanie Gribben (Nate Schuler) of Wabash, IN, Christina Egts (Troy) of Fort Wayne and Melissa Denney (Justin) of Wabash; his stepson Troy Nolan-Watkins (DeWayne) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Taylor Egts (Keaton Cruz) of Wabash, Blake Gribben (Picabo Saunders) of Laporte, Khloe Schuler of Wabash, Spc. and Brinley Schuler of Wabash, Spc.; his stepgrandchildren, Mataya Nolan-Watkins, William Nolan-Watkins, Elijah Nolan-Watkins and Sophia Nolan-Watkins; his great grandchild Athena Cruz of Wabash; and his sisters, Delphine Lytell (Jake) of Illinois and Maryann Allison (Charles) of Delaware.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
