Garland E. Betz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garland E. Betz of Huntington, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E. Betz and Kathryn "Kate" Betz (Schipper); and his sister Janet Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Baumgardner Betz (Selig); his children, Tony Baumgardner (Patty), T. J. Baumgardner (Chrissy), Danielle Swada (Rich) of Huntington and Dawn Jackson (John) of Huntington; his brother-in-law Ronnie Johnston (Dee); his nephews, Jeff Johnston (Krissy) and Kurt Johnston (Kristy); and his grandchildren, Logan Baumgardner, Gage Swada, Caleb Jackson, Chelsea Swada, Peyton Jackson, Miller Baumgardner, Hayden Baumgardner, Elliot Baumgardner, Katherine Baumgardner and David Baumgardner.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Garland's Home.
